I had a 95 S-10 blazer that my wife brought here from California and it had bad water stains on all the windows. I tried everything including Windex of course, it wouldn't touch it. I tried CLR and a few other products and never could get them to lighten. We sold the little thing in about a hour one day after I put it in the front yard. California car with no rust sells quick around here even though the windows were mess.

I never tried steel wool, now I know thanks.
