Looks stout, but I won't run power brakes in an a-body. There's just no need.

I don't know why people still insist on this.

It depends on what you're used to. Every one of my 24 cars over the years, from old Mopars to new cars, has had power brakes. Every time I've driven my brother's '67 Barracuda with manual disks, it's scared the hell out of me when it's time to stop. Maybe I'm not as big and burly as some, but I shouldn't have to be just to enjoy an old car. I'd much rather have too much stopping power than too little.

I've heard the same thing about power steering on a-bodies. I've also owned several manual steering cars over the years (including a few a-bodies), and while I didn't consider them dangerous, I STILL prefer the comfort and convenience of power steering.

I don't want to "work" when I'm driving an old car. Guess that makes me a wuss.
