Ron if you're going to get it anyway, why not try it now and see. Make sure you remove the "wings" in the carb pad and blend in what's left before you bolt it on, though.

Andy's right on the low speed issues, but your converter
+ gear + some accelerator pump tuning should cover most of it up and should make it liveable.

It is not quite as easy to drive normally on the street as a St. Dominator or an RPM, it does not have a nice smooth linear throttle response at low speeds like those intakes have....The Victor's light throttle/low speed response is more like an on/off switch and takes some getting used to at first.
