Head scratching and crank shaft jokes aside , I'll never figure that one out if I live to be a million. Jay Payne and Shelly Anderson , anyone ? Love if certainly a funny thing. But I do love me some track side gals. Except Shirley. Many moons ago , I was at Brainerd for a Nat. with my then 5 yr. old Daughter. I thought this would be a watershed moment in a young girls life and perhaps inspire her to love cars and realize dreams etc. etc. Till Shirley completely ignored us from four feet away. Since then , my thoughts about her have mostly begun with the letter "C" .
