Could u feel the diffference in power? Did u pick up hp buy switching? What kind of hood did u put on I'm looking for a fiberglass on with a six pack scoop on in

Its not my car, but I get to drive it and occasionally blow it up. The hood I recomended to him was Glastek, and that's what he went with. It showed up in about 10 days, and fits perfect just as the one on my Cuda did. He is fabricating a cold air pan to seal the carb to the hood. I saw it yestarday, and its almost done...11.50's here we come.

Now back to the intake. I have owned and run hemis now for probably 12 years or so. I have had lots of intakes on them, and this one is probably the best one next to an efi set-up I have on the Cuda I have ever seen. Plugs with the M1 dual plane were horrible. No carb we ran on it, ran very well. Racing it wasn't much better.

Drivabilty on the RB single plane with an off the shelf reaction time 950 annular BG carb is outstanding and so is the performance. Hands down, you can't beat one of these for the money and performance. I thought it was kind of ugly, but its really grown on me now. And it beats buying two carbs and working it all out. Super simple, and less time goofing with everything with just one carb. In three passes, I had this thing flying for a boat. So, yes performance picked up a bunch and so did the drivability. He was going to try a different carb, and I said no, this is the one, it just needs a few sizes more in jet in the rear, and it will mph like its supposed to. I got over two tenths out of this combo already, and there's more yet.
