For a street car I wouldn't install it (as is). From what I've read, the process of "pro-shifting" a tranny equates to removal of synchronizers. I've never operated a pro-shifted tranny, so I can only assume that you'd be unhappy with it on the street. That said, I think all you can do is weigh the price of a rebuilt unit (minus what you can sell yours for) versus the cost of parts to rebuild yours. I'd also call Passon Performance and see what kind of advice they have.
