I have a 67 c-body steering column that has that same hole in the lower collar, and a set screw is accessible. If I had to venture a guess, based on the part numbers visible, I would say that the collars you purchased are from a 67-68 c-body car.



so whats the set screw for? it doesn't come in contact with the column, or anything else for that matter?
