I believe it was in the General Forum, where the threads get deleted after so long. I took a quick look but didn't find it.

I believe the guy had intermittent issues where at 3/4 tank, it would drop to empty, then it would work again at 1/2 tank. He found that the swinging arm was losing its ground to the rest of the sender at certain points along its travel. So, he added another wire from the arm to the sender body to give it a good ground, and it worked great after that.
