Somethings not right there and a crooked lifter bore, hard to imagine, would wipe a cam in a nanosecond



Have you seen any lifters that were worn on that angle. I have seen them badly cupped, but not like the one he shows. I would check the diameter of the lifter bore and the diameter of the affected lifter. I think this is more than just a typical flattened cam.

I am assuming this wasn't a virgin block.
