1) The later ones from Ma Mopar are junk! We changed them like mad at the dealership.

2) Yes the center will interchange up to the point the splines change. I have an Auburn diff from a Jeep Liberty in my 74 Duster =) $78 off Ebay.


The only thing you need to be aware of is to use the diff bearings correct for your housing. Mopar changed the outer diameter of the diff bearings around '76
