1) raise the car up - personally I like the high 60's/'70's superstock look
2) build a skid plate on the k-frame - doesn't have to go completely under the pan but enough to kit before the pan does
Nope not going super stock racing not anymore.
most likely will at least do a temporary skid plate though

Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first.
