I took .060" off of mine to yield 75CC chambers which gave me 10.5:1 with a Cometic .027" thick MLS gasket and the same 2355 TRW flattop slugs that were .021" down in a stock deck ht., .030"-over, 440. I was trying to keep my quench as close as I could without decking and running stock "Sixpack" forgings.
I DID have to take .075" off of the intake faces. It cut a bit into the valve cover rail but not too bad. As was also brought up about the pushrod clearance, I had to hog a bit out to get my 3/8" rods to work with my 1.6 rockers but if you are stock sized with the stock stuff or even 1.5's you will probably be ok but dubble check it to be sure.
Good luck!
