FACT: adjacent rocker arms on the 'lobe' will cause shaft deflection.

I.E, if the intake valve is open and the exhaust is closed, the deflection will pull the exhaust arm away from the valve/lifter increasing lash.

Therefore: I always set my lash with BOTH valves closed at the same time.


On the wedge cams the intake lobes, 1&2 are side by side, the exhaust lobes,#1&2 are on the other side of the intake lobes so when #1 int. is open # 2 ex. may or may not be affecting # 1 int and #2 int, same thing on # 2 int. and #1 ex BTW, when is the hazes coming out party?
