FYI
These are the flexplate bolts you need to not have any issues with interference when using a standard 727 converter with a hemi(or any 8 bolt flange) crankshaft. Note the very thin head. They fit fine and won't hit the back of the converter, but they are too long and you need to take about 1/4" off them or they will hit the rear main seal retainer. No big deal- I just use a cutoff wheel and radius the cut edge. You also need to buy two pkgs as they only come in a pack of 6
. ARP may make a proper bolt- I just got used to these and they aren't ridiculously priced.
