XE262...ran it in a stock long block 360 in my 5th ave with a little bowl and pushrod pinch porting on the stock 1.88 heads, RPM intake, 600 eddie, and headers. ran real strong, could keep up with a 5.7L LX car from a roll (which should've put my car in the low-mid 14's) and it is ~4200 lbs with me in it. I'm running an A500 with 3.55's.

I think you'll find the 3.23 and 26" tall tires will be the best overall gear for your car with the OD tranny.

4.10's will be a waste, 1st gear is 3.09 in the OD tranny's, with 4.10's and shortish tires, 1st will be useless.

if I were you, I'd probably use a t-quad and stock manifold.

I'd also look at a lunati voodoo 60401 or 60402. all of these cams can use comp 901 springs.

another option, if you're buying springs, valves, and getting the heads reworked would be to buy these heads from hughes. they'll flow ~15-20% better than your redone stock heads, have good springs already, and have a 63cc chamber, that with a thin Mr. gasket head gasket should net you somewhere around 8.7:1. you'll need to buy different pushrods, and some magnum rockers (used run $20-50, new can be had for ~ $80).

I'd keep my cam recommendations with this combo, too.

another cam that comes recommended from others is the crower 267 dur cam.
