I work for chrysler, and I was trained on how the new hemis are built and have seen them apart etc. There is no way I would pay more than a real motor and put one of those in an old mopar and beat on it. PLUS if you ever broke it youd be spending lots of money to get any replacement parts.



or could you could build the same thing everybody else has...let someone do something outside the box.

plus a new hemi, a retrofit harness, and ecm can be had for about 3500.

you might be able to save money, just depends what you already have available.

plus how often are you seeing 300s/magnums/chargers with any internal problems. your occassional valve spring broke and the rod knock on the srt's and thats about it.

i so go for it...
