Woodburn Dragstrip is proud to announce the major events for the 2010 drag race schedule. The season will run from March 6 through October 10. Gates will open for Test-n-Tune sessions on March 6,7,13, and 14. March 20 & 21 will add the option of a gamblers race to the Test-n-Tune sessions. Saturday, March 27 will be the annual SFI and Chassis Certification date as well as a Test-n-Tune session and an optional gamblers race.
The first event in the Sunoco Race Fuels Series is set for March 28. Additional dates in the series will be April 3, 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9. 16, 22, 23, 30, June 6, 13, July 4, 17, 25, August 1, 14, and 21.
The Junior Drag Racing League events for 2010 are scheduled for April 3, 10, 24, May 3, 30, 31, June 5, July 3, 17, August 1, 21, 22, September 18 and 19.
Front wheel drive and Imports take center stage at the Sports Compact and Street Bike Challenge to be contested on April24, May 8*, June 6*, July 4*, July 25, August 21*, and September 25*. At the five events marked *, a separate class of the quickest 8 will compete for cash and a track championship. Details will follow.
High School students are invited to compete in the High School Series on April 10, 24, May 8, 22, 29, June 6, July 4, 25, and August 21.
Other events include Friday Night Fun Drags on May 21, 28, June 4, July 2, 16, 23, 30, August 13, 20, and September 3. Dragsters & Roadsters class will compete on May 15, 16, June 19, 20, July 10, 11, August 7, 8, and September 11 & 12. Pro Nostalgia will compete on April 17-18, June 12-13, 19-20, August 7-8, and September 11-12. Heads-Up Northwest is scheduled for April 25, May 22, July 17, and September 19.
July 3 and July 10-11 are the dates for two new events added to the 2010 schedule. Racers will have opportunity to see how quick they really are at the INSTANT GREEN event on July 3rd. It will feature a handicapped head start based on dial-in and no yellow bulbs. Racers will have opportunity to purchase one mulligan which can be used at any time. Pro Mods, Top Fuel Harleys, and ET Racers will compete at the Inaugural Oregon Championship Drag Race on July 11 & 12. Additional details regarding this event will be forthcoming.

All dates and events listed above are subject to change. Racers and fans are invited to watch for the final version to be printed in February. This schedule will be sent to over 15,000 on the mailing list, and will also be available at Bi-Mart Stores, Les Schwab Tire Centers, and many local businesses and establishments throughout the Northwest.
