I just got this 69 Charger R/T running after 15 years! The problem I have is that the 727 transmission shifts late from 1st to 2nd and especially 2nd to 3rd. I have to get up to 40, 45 mph and then let off the gas to get it to shift to 3rd. The tranny is full of fluid in nutral and has a new filter.

This is my first Mopar with an auto and I really am clueless on how to adjust the shift points. Is the arm that goes to the carb throttle bracket the only adjust point?
