Does 180 psi seem about right? New rebuilt engine, never been fired yet and still setting on a stand.

The build was 4.15 stroker, 440 source flat tops 12 in the hole, 906 heads shaved 60 or a bit more, 39 thou head gasket, lunati cam 60342 solid.

251/259 @50 106/114 center .377/.391 lobe lift useing 1.5 rockers.

I was shooting for around 10-1 compression, maybe a bit more.

Can anyone tell by the cold cranking psi if im in that range? I was shooting for 450 hp - 500 or so. Thinking about pulling the 6pk engine out of my car starting tomorrow and installing this. I do have some 110 octane here to start it up on if need be. I installed the cam on 106 int centerline. And useing ported 906 heads with 214/181's It's a 4spd 410 gear car, just to drive around local. Not a whole lot of Mopars at our local 1/8 mile track and I would like to have a respectable time for street tires with full factory exhaust. I have never really run an 1/8 mile much, always been 1/4 mile and in a race car. Hoping to get an 8? second pass in the 1/8th. My machinist friend has a 69 chevelle with a 454 and he ran an 8.23 street rim. I need to run as good= better than him. You think this set up is low 8 sec worthy? I had asked this before, but thought I may get a better input having a psi reading this time.

I was wondering if once the engine is broken in or warm if the psi number would get higher?
