Am I going to be the first?

I have a 72 Rallye that I was going to make some patches for but the idea of blasting out some spot welds and welding a new panel on does have its appeal. My car has been media blasted and isn't real rusty but it took a shot to the area in front of the right rear wheel and will require ALOT of hammer and dolly work. The worst part is somebody allready "fixed it". Rust is limited to the very lowest part of the 1/4s,no big deal I've done that before.

I'm wondering if I should just get over it and fix what is there, or blast em off. If I cut them off and the new ones don't fit right I'll be tweaked. I've been the gunea pig for too much junk that doesn't fit before. I don't want to spend 1500 and fix the originals anyway

If the car was in worse shape there would be only one answer.

Anybody buy them and get them on yet?
