Hi, this might be a pretty stupid question, but I haven't messed with distributors, so here goes:
I bought a used MSD 6530 programmable 6al-2. But reading more into the instructions I realized it has boost retard, but not really vacuum advance.
So, I know there are some workarounds with the programmable map, but was wondering if there's a way to lock out the mechanical advance of a stock distributor, yet retain the vacuum advance capability?

Thanks,
Ran

"Hey mister, something's wrong with your car, it idles roughly" - number one comment I got in Israel when daily driving a 70 Barracuda with a lopey cam.
