Good luck!....I went hunting for a week in the high desert (11,000 feet elevation) on the California/Nevada border...I saw a lot of deer and almost had a shot at a buck...I took my 13 year old daughter for her first time and we had a great time.
Out here we have to hike a lot of miles to see deer...we hiked 5 miles+ a day (at 10K+ feet elev.)...my daughter was a trooper.
