After recently lunching my BB727's overrunning clutch, (found two rollers in the pan) i'm considering upgrading from my Cheetah Reverse pattern Manual Valve body to one of CRT/Cope Transmission's Reverse Manual Valve bodies with the "Low Band Apply" feature in my next tranny.

Anyone notice any difference in 1/4 mile E.T.'s or difference in 1-2 or 2-3 shifts?

I'm pretty sure it's a Must Have for me,(Cheap insurance for $300) but just curious what to expect and i've heard talk of the shifting not being as quick as the regular Cheetah or Turbo Action rev. pat. valve bodies.

Thanks all

Been a huge change in technology on this over the years. If you set the trans up with the proper springs in the servo and use the newer style Griner/A A/etc valve bodies, the band come off just as quick as if the 1st gear was through the overrunning clutch.
