You didn't indicate whether or not this is going to be a strip car or street car or both. I ran a .030 over 360 block with a 284/484 hydraulic purpleshaft,a torker 340 intake, with a rejetted 800 double pumper holley and a 904 with a 3000 stall and 391's and my car would flat move! I tried a 750 holley and it was slower IMO the setup liked the increased airflow of the 800 with the jets of the 750. If I had it to do over again I'd probably get one of the Hughes cams and get some of their input on the rest of your setup. BTW my setup was in a 71 demon.
