Haven't had much to report about in the last few weeks, the guy's at my track have been kickin my hiney as of lately, my 5 rd points lead had dwindled to a 5 rd deficit, and I just couldn't get anything going to win rds, almost everyone I had ran recently had killed it, and I was on the losing end, close races, all of them, but couldn't get the wins to fall my way until last night.

So here's the scoop on how lucky I was last night,

Made 2 tt and the car was deadly as usual, the air was good, and the track decent, went 2 7.03's with some change, so I felt like the car would do it's job, now I just needed to get over my HIB syndrome, and drive.

1st rd I dial an 03, as there was no weather change from the last tt, and my opponent dials in at 7.75, he goes .623 to my .535, and I have plenty room to get on the brakes, before the stripe, and secure a win.

2nd rd I leave the 3 on the window, and my opponent is dialed in at 7.86, this is the fellow who had taken my points lead a couple of weeks ago, so I needed to scratch out a win somehow, and put him on the trailor, as he had turned on the big red eyeball 1st rd, he goes .543 to my .550, late but still in it, catch him right at the stripe, drag the brake feed him a touch of stripe, and he goes 7.859, 1 thou under to my .032, just somehow got the race gods, to strike one up for me.

3rd I still have the 03 tattoed on the window, and am trying to play the carrying numbers game, as the car should run a touch quicker, my adversary is dialed in at a 6.70, this guy is fourth in points, so I need to try and take him out, and stop the bleeding, I go .538 and he goes .538, nothing on the front end to work with, but he has not gained much ground as we near the stripe, and I dig out the anchor, and pitch it out the wondow, I go an .03 with a 3, and he is 3 hund off the dial, almost gave it away, note to myself use a bigger anchor next time.

4th rd, I dust the 03 dial off and put a 2 on the window just to be on the safe side, my opponent has dialed in at 7.27, this young fellow, and his dad are mopar guy's and I have been helping them some on their set up, getting some problems squared away, he will be a good driver after he gets some more seat time, anyway we stage and he goes .523 to my .535, and the race is on, we get real close to the point in the race where I should be even with him, but he still has a half fender on me, remember the note about the bigger anchor, I heaved 2 of them out on that run, let him have a bunch of stripe, and he goes 3 under to my 2 over, he needs a little more finish line experience.

5th rd I still have the 2 on the window, and the guy I am running is dialed in at 6.97 we flip for lanes, and I loose naturally, so he tosses me in the other lane, we stage and when the tree comes down, I leave but he is not there so I figure he is late, he goes .674 to my .520, and I run over the 2 anchors I threw out the rd before, and slowed the car down, to an 05 to his 3 hun under, and still he's behind.

6th rd, there are 3 cars left and guess what my .20 is good enough for a bye into the final rd, I make my pass and the car goes a 7.021, on a 7.02 dial seems good enought for the final rd, got to keep it close.

Final rd, I leave the .02 on the car, and my opponent is dialed in at 6.58, we stage and leave I feel like I was a touch late, and hoped he somehow missed it also, he was .593 to my .540, don;t have anymore anchors to throw out so I used my tool box and chain I boom the car down with, and got it slowed down to keep from going under, finally have another win for an old worn out racer, and have taken back the points lead, for the time being.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to throw out some results.
