OK, so I got the carbs running good, used a tach and vac guage to tune the carbs, did the front to rear carb swap too. Replaced the secondary spings and worked all the way down to the white springs and still have a bog/hesitation when the outboards kick in. I will be getting the Promax jet blocks in a couple of months when I can afford them. So in the mean time, I will try to drill out the factory metering blocks. I don't care about the blocks because I will be replacing them, but I don't want mess them up and not be able to enjoy the car untill I get the Promax plates. So I will be sneaking up on what I need. Does anybody have any ideas or recommendations for this. I know even though the car runs great, it isn't good for the engine to have the hesitation.
