I've been watching this post a little, and I love your Dart. My question is this. If you are having trouble with your lights, work on fixing your reaction time in other ways. Put a shorter tire on the front. That will help with the rollout. Increase the RPM a little. If you don't have one...BUY A PRACTICE TREE. It's the best investment I ever made for my racing ventures.

If you are bracket racing, the tire spin you will receive with the smallish slicks on your Dart would outweigh the lazy lights in my opinion. When you consider the issues with broken parts or spending big bucks for expensive drive train components...why bother. Keep your money in the bank for unseen breakage down the road. Work on fixing the problem, and you will be a happier racer. Good luck.
