The 440 block has all the right machine work done; decked, bored with plates, line bore checked.
Lightweight J & E pistons and pins, stock rods w/ ARP bolts, steel crank, all components balanced.
Racer Brown 543/509 hydraulic cam.
Non ported 906 heads w/ big valves and triple springs, original rockers. Melling hi flow, 8 qt oil pan.
Complete MSD ignition (distributor, 6 AL box, adjustable timing module). 10mm Taylor plug wires.
Holley reworked to flow 930 cfm. Edelbrock TM-6 manifold.
Hooker Super Comp headers and 3 inch exhaust through FlowMasters.
The engine runs really strong and smooth. Best ET in a mostly original and heavy 72 Charger is 12.40 with TCI 3500, standard 727, 4.30 gearing and slicks.
I think this motor could really wake up with a set of good alu heads so I need your tips folks.
I don't have too much to spend so I'm looking for the most bang for the buck
