Who can be trusted to do chrome retorations? grills, windshield trim,

Windshield trim is not chrome. One allmost all older mopars it is Stainless.

Some bright metal on grilles are chromed pot metal, bright dipped anodized aluminum, or stainless.

What car do you have?

Windshield trim, door trim, and drip rail trim is stainless. Take a small body hammer to raise up the low spots and file them down then gradually sand out the scratches with increasingly fine sandpaper to straighten them. Finally finish up with a couple buffing wheels and the stainless comes right back to bright and shiny condition. If you spend some time and elbow grease the trim can clean up really well (as long as its not totally trashed to start with).

For chrome I sent the front bumper for my Charger to Tri-City Plating in TN on some recomendations I got from the forum. Really reasonable turn around time of 4 weeks with shipping and reasonable price with lifetime warranty. I just got it back a couple of weeks ago so I can't comment on the long term quality but it looked pretty good out of the box.
