I have a 727 of unknown vintage(older I think) and it seems to me that under normal acceleration that it shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd really quick. So quick that when I first started to drive my car I thought it was stuck in 2nd. I had to listen really hard to hear it change into 3rd. I had it rebuilt some 4 years ago with no mods; it has a "stock" MP torque converter and is hooked to a 3:55 rear gear. So what gives?
