I like the 2x4 idea, maybe even when you are working on it (assuming you don't need to flip it upside down). My assembled 360 made me a little nervous the way it squatted down. Makes me wonder if anyone has ever actually put 1000 lbs on a 1000 lb (chinese) stand.
