They basically have nothing in common. Here is a pic. of the 71 style belts. I will post some pictures tonight of the 70 only deluxe belts. They are not interchangable. 70 buckles have a rectangular push button center, the 71's as you can see from the picture, do not. 70 belts have clear plastic sliders for adjustment, 71's do not.
