I am thinking of changing a couple of things and was wondering what you guys think. I have a 73 duster that is just a bracket car, it has a 416 stroker with about 500 HP and TQ. It is a pretty good combination that runs 10.50's and 123(it is down, previous best is 126.5 and and the motor is apart for fresening) It has 9.8 compression and last year I was running 4.56 gears that broke towards the end of the year and didn't bother to change them and I am thinking on changing pistons to 11.5 compression being it is apart. It has a cast crank that I don't want to spin past 7000 rpm, so I was thinking the pistons should pick up some ET and mph so instead of replacing the 4.56's I would try some 4.30's. I figure it might slow my 60's but they are low 1.40's and that dosent bother me. Just wondering what you would suggest and if any of you have been here before. Thanks Craig
