Power for those can be about 700 HP, except restrictor-plate tracks @ about 450.
IIRC, they're 3400 lbs w/driver, minimum.
The car in the OP could certainly vary, as it's an old car, and not at an Xfinity race. Their tech guys are murderous compared to NHRA, but obviously they're 2 different worlds.
For ovals, maximizing left side weight is limited by regulations. Hence stuff like oil tanks & batteries have been traditionally left side, and located with regard to polar moment of inertia.
I would think a road course configuration would be inherently better at drag racing than an oval car configuration.
FWIW, An obsolete dirt Sprint Car from 40-50 years ago should easily run 8s.
