I occasionally watch a Youtuber named Craig Lieberman. He is about 55 years old. He designed all the cars for the first Fast and Furious Movie. His personal past includes owning and racing V8 muscle cars with lots of street drag racing- old school style on a vacant road without spectators lining both sides like today. Any way he said the mid 2000s was a turning point for aftermarket manufacturers of parts as to who would receive free products- Magazines were still a thing but cable TV car build shows were in full force and internet websites was the latest interrupter. Print media needs people buying their magazines but they also need heavy sponsorship from the aftermarket companies. In the 90s EVERY OTHER page of the 2 most popular muscle car magazines had an advertisement. I wonder if the aftermarket no longer delivering freight loads of donated products to print magazines is a big factor with that magazines demise.

Keep old mopars alive.
