Assuming that since the warranty extension was only to 2013 I assume the 2014 and later have the more "Robust" Head.

Will a 2014 and later head work on the 2011-2013 engines?

Should I source a pair of 2014 & later heads if I need to replace the heads?

Still have fingers crossed when I get to see it in person that it is something simple like a coil pack. However, I am planning for the worst to see if it is worth the cost of the repair.

Ironically Rockauto is sold out of the left head but has 2 different suppliers for the right. I guess people don't believe in doing both heads these days?
