One of the hardest-working racers I know is in his 80s - he thinks nothing of a converter change or pulling a cylinder head at the track.
Slightly less hard-working 83-year-old runs a '57 Chevy with a column 3-speed, though he gets help for trans & diff swaps.
Knew a guy in his mid-90s who toured his 4-speed GTO around the country visiting friends.
At 72, I'm still crawling around under cars & doing some remodeling & construction work...
Likely that's a mix of my Dad's "mind over matter" voice in my head, stubbornness, and good health, for which I'm thankful.

i try not to "let the old man in", but having MS and other health issues for many years has kicked me good !
i at least try to work in the shop 5 or 6 hours every day, but some days it isn't possible............
