Buy a small Viair pump and put it in the truck of the car. They are fairly light and work very well. Here is a link to summit but if you shop around can find them cheaper elsewhere

They have a bunch of different models from under $100 to over $400. I might have to check out that Nissan one Andyf mentioned.
A few years ago my wife bought me one of those cheap cigarette lighter inflators probably from Walmart. I think it was a Black and Decker. Lol,. It burned up the first time I tried to I use it. Total garbage and I threw it where the rest of our garbage goes.
