Close. I think Stellantis will kill off Dodge and Chrysler, but keep Ram and Jeep. They have lots of production capacity worldwide, and I can see Stellantis moving production of Ram and Jeep to other facilities/countries.
Yup, the cash cow - Jeep & Ram ! . . . Don't forget this is European owned company that doesn't think like north americans ! . . . They killed off the "affordable" SUV that Dodge had (Journey) without having a replacement anywhere near. The Journey wasn't "great" - but for the $$$ you got ton of content ! . . . only had 300 & Pacifica for Chrysler products ?!?!? . . . seems like have been too late into market with the products that actually sell - Jeep Grand Wagoneer ??? . . . bring that out just when big rigs like that are not going to sell much ?? Pump up pricing, cause the market suggests you can ?!?!? . . . not when your product is thought of as being a "lower cost" product . . .
Rebadged European product . . . phett . . . How are those 'Alfa Romeo' vehicles selling in north america ?!?!? . . . not . . . . .
Love to see Mopar live on . . . but in todays world, just seems like their decisions are not what public wants . . .
