I'm putting new AMD quarters on the car, and need to know if the front of the opening needs to be trimmed. Mine are trimmed now for the 31" tires, but doesn't mean much, when all that is changing.


A friend has 295-65/15 M/T on his 69 Sport Satellite. Pretty much the same diameter as the 315-60. They were too close to the front of the opening so I made aluminum spacers for the front spring mounts. I think they were 3/8" thick shruggy but they could have been 1/2" thick. The tires have never rubbed.
