Not understanding the above, gauge instructions say to never open high side during charge, Freon is sucked in low side?

I agree this is a money grab, this “new” crap is $50/can compared to $10 for the R134.
From what I read a lot of people purge the new stuff and fill system with R134.
Servicing the “new” system is $500 or more compared to $200.
