I don't think ethanol alcohol will touch, clean, or dilute petroleum base lubricants scope twocents
methanol will dilute oil but I don't think it will clean it like petroleum based cleaners will like cleaning solvents or brake or carb cleaners due scope up
I buy petroleum base cleaning solvents form my local gas and oil bulk storage plants scope up
I found out that they will sell you containers of solvents in various sizes, 55 gallon, 30 gallons and 5 gallons pails and they also stock it in bulk and will fill my containers a lot cheaper than buying it in theirs up scope twocents
