I've never understood those "Continental kits", but much of the car looks pretty nice.
Gotta wonder why the OEM gauges weren't hooked up after the restoration; didn't the '56s have 12V systems ?
Maybe that was another shortcut like the alternator adjustment bracket, or the '70s GM style door mirrors ?
I would imagine the gold-tone gas door cover isn't easy to find.
But IIRC, those air cleaner lids are hard to find and spendy.
The S-10 trans is interesting, but I would think it's something a purist wouldn't like.
