Thanks everyone for the responses. My brother started this post for me, its been a few years since I've been active here. I have the 440 port size max wedge intake manifold from A&A. I could open up the crossram to full max wedge size. I was going to use Edelbrock RPM heads, but have considered using Trick Flow's instead.

I'm more concerned if the max wedge intake manifold (440 port or max wedge port) will even bolt up to the 240 or 270 Trick Flow heads. Curious if anyone has actually matched up the parts on an engine build.

The Trick Flow 240 has this valve cover rail that protrudes out from the intake port side of the head. I'm concerned about this interfering with the max wedge intake manifold. See attached photo. Top photo is the Trick Flow 240. Second photo with the flat intake port is the Trick Flow 270.
