Chute no chute really won't matter if you try to pump up or jab at a car with carbon brakes. Its going for a ride period. Lost a few pro stock cars back when they first came out with them for the same reason. They are a different animal all together. They do not do much when you first hit them and then people panic, but once they get some heat in them they work great but they require heat to work unlike steel brakes that fade with heat. If you have never driven a car with carbon brakes it can feel unnerving at first. But they can stop a fuel car from 330 when the chute fail, they are great brakes but have to be treated differently.
