Depends on the class, Aeroquip 601 and 701 have an inner tube of seamless, specially formulated synthetic rubber reinforced with a stainless steel partial inner braid and full-coverage stainless steel outer braid.


I guess the pricey stuff is good quality, but i just have to much faith in most new products with all these environmental regulations.


I replaced original fuel hoses on my 63 lincoln last year that were still good. I have ones a few years old on other vehicles that are hard as rock. If the new ones don't last the old ones are going back on.


Exactly what I was also thinking. New stuff just doesn’t seem to last.
