My 66 is converted.
Using everything from a 67 B body.
Still manual drum brakes
This is the way to do it.
Owning both a '65 and '67, this is what I did to my manual drum/drum '65. It worked fine. I sourced the brass splitter block on the frame rail and an OEM MC from a salvage yard and had it rebuilt. Bench bleed the MC carefully. I don't recall if I needed the shaft from the pedal, but I'm a parts hoarder, so I probably got it too off the donor car. The rear steel lines I reused as feasible, and bent and flared the second line myself. I have good bending skills and tools, and easy to get it right having my '67 right there for reference. I recall it was a little hard to source the second fitting at the MC, it has a particular size or thread.
