i have a Harbor Freight bead breaker, and an assortment of tire irons. With practice, you get good at it.

I also have an air tank gizmo that catches the bead. I don't know what it's called.

I also use a bubble balancer. I can never decide if that thing works or not.

Of course, you need an air compressor.

I wouldn't want to try anything with a stiff sidewall.
