Hello. I hate to post this because I know dropping a D150 has been discussed to death, but I have some questions. First some background: I have a '78 D150 with fabricated drop LCA's. It drives poorly. It rides rough (springs are 3/4 ton spec...), has bump steer and the upper lca's are adjusted outside of their normal range to get the camber near right. My aim is to maintain the stance, 2-3" drop, but make it drive the way it is supposed to. I have decided that I need to ditch the LCA's and go back to stock along with stock coils. I have pretty much decided to use X2 drop spindles, but am a bit hesitant because of possible tie rod location/ fit issues. Does anyone have input on these? Again, I like the look of the slight drop, but the way it was done is not acceptable to me. Thanks.
