I'm incredibly lucky, given my interest in participating in drag racing has been picking up again over the last year, that a I live in the Mid-Atlantic region where there are a number of tracks w/in a few hours drive, and some less than 2 hours away.

If I was still in SoCal today and wanted to be involved again, I'd be waaaay frustrated at the lack of options and opportunities. "So, how's the local street racing scene, bro?"
